Future

After graduation, I will continue focusing on bringing the journal to market. The Social Design Talent Award 2024 (SDTA) nomination will create a network of experts to help make this come true. Additionally, winning the STDA would mean that I would collaborate with the municipality of Eindhoven to pilot the journal in Eindhoven and further develop it. Furthermore, I will continue reaching out to publishers to see if the journal can be published or otherwise publish the journal myself. The Instagram page @becomingclimatefriendly will remain active as I will continue posting tips and information to support people and create a larger audience for the journal.

However, I will also continue my development after graduation by looking for a job in the social domain. I want to continue using my passion and knowledge to help the climate mitigation transition. My skills as a designer can be used to facilitate design processes, focus on user experience research, and create concepts and products that can make an impact. When looking for a job, I know one thing that will be highly important: to keep growing my skills.

But first, after a long semester of hard work, it is time to leave the academic ‘tower’ and reconnect with nature to create new energy and perspectives for future projects.
